Gore, a 6-4 TUF 29 alum with knockout power and submission threats, carried underdog status amid his inconsistent Octagon run and defensive vulnerabilities. Both made weight cleanly—Bekoev at 186 lbs, Gore at 185.5—with no injury reports, weigh-in misses, or late scratches reported in the 24 hours prior.
