The Veolia Arizona Open mixed doubles draw is notably wide open after several elite teams opted out, creating opportunities across both halves for pairings such as Ben Johns/Anna Leigh Waters, Rachel Rohrabacher/Christian Alshon, Parris Todd/Andrei Daescu, and Tyra Black/Noe Khlif. Waters and Johns enter as the top seed with strong recent form, yet they have faced tighter contests and occasional upsets from teams like the Johnsons in prior events. Fresh partnerships, including Catherine Parenteau/Jonathan Truong and others leveraging momentum from MLP or recent PPA results, add further unpredictability. This depth and schedule context sustain a tight cluster of implied probabilities near 25% among the leading contenders.
