Norway enters the opening match of the Portugal T20I Tri-Series against France at Santarem Cricket Ground with momentum from winning four of their last five T20Is, including a recent 22-run victory over France in the August 2025 Viking Cup. France, conversely, has lost four of its past five outings, struggling with batting consistency despite players like Mukhtar Ghulami. Head-to-head records are even at 1-1, but Norway's stronger ICC ranking (42nd vs. 52nd) and key contributors like Wahidullah Sahak tilt trader consensus. The neutral pitch favors pacers slightly, with teams winning eight of 15 T20Is chasing (avg. 1st inns 160); toss could prove pivotal amid cloudy conditions and 41% rain chance.
