JDG and Anyone's Legend advanced to the Phase 2 upper bracket final on May 21 (Bo5) after key wins on April 13—JDG's 2-1 upset over heavy favorite Bilibili Gaming and AL's 2-0 victory against Weibo Gaming—positioning them as frontrunners for one of two EWC 2026 slots from China's double-elimination qualifier. In the lower bracket, Oh My God eliminated Team WE 2-0 while Invictus Gaming ousted Top Esports 2-0 on April 14, keeping TES out but leaving BLG, WBG, iG, and OMG in contention via April 20 Bo3s (WBG vs. OMG, BLG vs. iG). Top LPL Split 1 seeds dominate despite upsets, with fearless draft formats emphasizing roster depth and adaptability amid recent meta shifts; the second qualifier spot remains wide open pending lower bracket outcomes through May 22.
