Scottie Scheffler’s commanding lead in the 2026 FedExCup standings, bolstered by multiple top finishes and strong strokes-gained metrics, underpins his 27.5% implied probability heading into the playoffs. Rory McIlroy’s 14% reflects his major pedigree and proven playoff resilience despite sitting outside the top 10, while Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Chris Gotterup benefit from elevated points hauls and recent consistency. The wide field highlights differentiators such as current FedExCup rank for automatic qualification advantages, form in signature events, historical performance at East Lake, and the points-reset format at the Tour Championship that rewards late surges among the top 30.
