Both players bring limited recent ITF experience into this W15 Monastir first-round match on hard courts. Tunisian Meriem Ben Ezzedine competes on home soil, where local conditions and crowd support could provide a modest edge in a low-stakes event. Sana Garakani, ranked around 1362, has a college tennis background with modest professional results. Head-to-head records show minimal prior meetings and no clear pattern. As emerging players with sparse official rankings and recent match data, outcomes hinge on current form, serve consistency, and adaptation to the surface rather than established rankings or momentum from prior ITF events.
