Shohei Ohtani dominates trader consensus at 40.5% implied probability for 2026 NL MVP, fueled by his anticipated full return to two-way play with the powerhouse Dodgers after elbow rehab, positioning him as a historic offensive-pitching force amid L.A.'s sustained contention. Juan Soto's blockbuster 15-year, $765 million Mets signing catapults him to 14%, injecting superstar firepower into a rising NL East contender alongside Francisco Lindor (5.5%). Mookie Betts (10.6%) and Ronald Acuña Jr. (10.5%) hold steady on proven track records and injury recoveries, while Fernando Tatis Jr. (7.5%) and Elly De La Cruz (6.0%) reflect Padres/Padres breakout potential and Reds speed-power hype. Bryce Harper (5.9%) and Kyle Tucker (2.7%) linger on Phillies grit and Astros trade rumors to NL suitors, with offseason megadeals and youth surges driving volatile early odds ahead of 2025 campaigns.
