Arsenal enter the 2026-27 Premier League as defending champions with elite squad depth and continuity under Mikel Arteta, positioning them as the frontrunner for another top-six finish alongside Manchester City, who face a major transition under new manager Enzo Maresca following Pep Guardiola’s departure. Liverpool and Chelsea, both under new leadership in Andoni Iraola and Xabi Alonso, bring attacking talent and depth but must navigate fixture congestion and squad integration. Manchester United’s improved structure from last season’s third-place finish and sides like Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Brighton add competition, with early results, transfer-window reinforcements, and European commitments shaping trader views on the implied probabilities for the top six.
