Top-seeded James Duckworth (ATP No. 95), a 34-year-old Australian right-hander, faces lower-ranked Beibit Zhukayev (ATP No. 353) in the San Luis Potosi Challenger quarterfinals on outdoor clay, where Duckworth's 4-1 head-to-head dominance—including a 6-2, 6-4 semifinal win over Zhukayev in Morelia last week and a prior 7-6(4), 7-6(4) clay victory here—anchors trader consensus favoring the veteran. Duckworth cruised past qualifier Miguel Tobon 6-4, 6-3 in the round of 16, while the 25-year-old Kazakh tallied a gritty three-setter, 7-6(3), 6-7(6), 6-4, over Dan Martin. No injuries reported; Duckworth's ranking edge, seeding, and clay matchup history drive the implied probability skew amid Zhukayev's upset potential.
