Apple shares closed near $306 on August 17, 2026, after posting a fiscal Q3 earnings beat on July 30 with EPS of $2.02 versus $1.89 expected, yet the company guided to slower September-quarter revenue growth of 9-11% amid elevated memory chip costs and supply constraints that pressured margins and triggered analyst downgrades. This has weighed on sentiment following earlier 2026 gains that pushed the stock to records above $330 and a nearly $5 trillion market cap. With no major company-specific catalysts imminent before the October 29 earnings release, daily closes will likely hinge on broader tech-sector momentum, Treasury yields, and any shifts in risk appetite ahead of the August 19 settlement.

If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No".
Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding.
If Apple (AAPL) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50.
For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange.
If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price.
