Apvienotais Saraksts (AS) leads trader consensus at 52.4% for the October 3, 2026 Saeima election, reflecting its recent formation of a center-right coalition government under Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs after May drone incidents collapsed the prior arrangement and excluded the Progressives. Polling trends show AS ahead at around 18-19%, buoyed by regional conservative and pragmatic appeals in a fragmented field where six parties are projected to clear the 5% threshold. Sovereign Power (SV) and Latvia First (LPV) trail at 21.1% and 19.5% amid rising right-populist support, while Progresīvie sits at 7.3% and smaller parties like Nacionālā Apvienība and Jaunā Vienotība lag further due to voter shifts toward opposition challengers. The six-week timeline leaves room for late swings in this proportional system.
