James Wade enters the first round of the 2026 Australian Darts Masters as the clear favorite against Tim Pusey, with traders assigning him a 62% implied probability. Wade, currently sixth on the PDC Order of Merit and an 11-time major winner, arrives with strong recent form, including a dominant performance in the preceding New Zealand Darts Masters. His extensive experience in World Series events and proven consistency at the elite level contrast with Pusey, a respected Australian player who excels on domestic tours but lacks comparable PDC ranking or major pedigree. The matchup features no reported injuries for either player, though Pusey may benefit from home-soil support in Wollongong. The pricing reflects the substantial gap in overall class while acknowledging the first-round setting.
