Johannus Monday holds a clear edge in this M25 Hurghada semifinal through his higher ATP ranking of 284 and stronger recent results on hard courts, where he has posted multiple wins in 2026 while maintaining solid serve and return percentages. The 24-year-old Briton brings greater experience at this level compared to 22-year-old Egyptian Michael Bassem Sobhy, ranked 641, who relies on improved break-point conversion and return pressure in recent matches but shows inconsistency in overall form. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the outcome hinges on Monday’s ability to control rallies against Sobhy’s baseline game on the fast hard surface in Hurghada. Local support could lift the home player’s intensity in the semifinal, though Monday’s superior ranking and schedule strength position him as the consensus favorite among traders assessing the matchup.
