Stefan Adrian Andreescu holds a clear edge entering this ITF M15 Curtea de Arges first-round match on outdoor clay, backed by his career-high ATP ranking of 513 and current standing near 562, compared to Mircea Mortasifu’s much lower profile with no notable ATP singles ranking. Both Romanians compete on home soil in the 8-14 June 2026 event, where Andreescu’s greater experience at higher levels and recent qualifying results provide momentum. Mortasifu, age 21-22, faces a significant step up against the 24-year-old right-hander, though clay-court variables and the single-elimination format leave room for competitive sets if the underdog maintains consistency from the baseline.
