If an FIA Formula 1 World Championship Grand Prix is held in a listed country between January 1 and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the relevant market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For the purpose of this market, a race is considered "held" in a country if a Grand Prix that is part of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship takes place at a circuit physically located within the territory of the listed country and an official race classification is published by the FIA. The official name or sponsor title of the Grand Prix will have no bearing on the resolution of this market; only the physical location of the circuit will be considered. Exhibition events, testing sessions, and non-championship races will not count toward a positive resolution. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Formula 1 (https://www.formula1.com/en/results) and the FIA, however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. The 2026 F1 calendar, originally set for 24 rounds, has faced major disruptions from the ongoing US-Iran conflict that began in February. Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix were cancelled in April, shrinking the schedule and prompting contingency plans to relocate or drop end-of-season events in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Trader pricing reflects this uncertainty, particularly around Qatar at roughly even odds, while established venues like Australia, Japan, China, Miami, Canada, Spain (including the new Madrid street circuit), the Netherlands, and Italy remain firm. Additional factors include potential substitutions such as a Malaysia round and the impact of new 2026 power unit regulations on scheduling logistics.
