Despite Batra's 0-3 group opener loss to top seed Miwa Harimoto yesterday (18-16, 4-11, 6-11), her world ranking of #47 edges closer form against Zhang's #42, whose recent WTT exits highlight struggles in high-pressure best-of-seven formats. No injuries reported; Zhang's pending Harimoto matchup adds uncertainty, but Batra's stylistic matchup advantage—stronger backhand loops and footwork—drives the lopsided implied probabilities amid group advancement stakes.
