This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player finishes in the top 5 at the 2026 Valero Texas Open tournament, including ties. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If final results are not announced by April 11, 2026 at 8:00PM ET this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the PGA Tour website (https://www.pgatour.com/).Mark Hubbard grabbed the first-round lead at the Valero Texas Open with a 7-under 65 at TPC San Antonio's Oaks Course, birdieing six of his final eight holes after a 90-minute weather delay due to thunderstorms, while Tony Finau and Davis Thompson share second at 6-under. Multiple high-profile withdrawals this week—Collin Morikawa (back injury), Gary Woodland, Pierceson Coody, and others—have thinned the field ahead of the Masters, with top players like Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy skipping for rest. Defending champion Brian Harman returns, but strong course history favors Jordan Spieth, Denny McCarthy, and Matt Kuchar for top-5 contention amid potential humid conditions and firm greens over the weekend.
