Rockstar’s partnership with Netflix delivered a major catalyst on August 27 with the nearly 27-minute “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look,” featuring extensive gameplay footage, story missions, side activities, and updated Vice City visuals—widely viewed as the long-awaited third official trailer after the May 2025 release. This event followed months of fan anticipation around preorders and marketing pushes, plus recent hacker leaks that Rockstar addressed through legal action. With the game locked for a November 19 console launch, traders see the timing as a deliberate final major showcase before the cutoff. The market-implied odds now heavily favor resolution to Yes, though any debate over whether the extended format qualifies as a traditional trailer could introduce minor uncertainty in the closing hours.
