Rockstar Games and parent Take-Two Interactive have not yet confirmed the PS5 launch price for GTA VI, leaving traders focused on industry pricing trends and the studio's history of premium positioning. Most major first-party and third-party titles now launch at $69.99 or $79.99, reflecting inflation, larger development budgets, and successful experiments with higher tiers by publishers like Sony and Microsoft. GTA V's 2013 console launch at $59.99 remains a benchmark, but current market dynamics—including strong pre-order demand and GTA Online's ongoing revenue—support expectations for a $70 base price or potential deluxe editions. Key upcoming catalysts include Take-Two's next earnings call and any Rockstar social media teases ahead of a 2026 release window.
