Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner clash in the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters final on clay, a pivotal ATP Masters 1000 showdown also deciding World No. 1 supremacy. Defending champion Alcaraz, leveraging his 3-1 clay head-to-head edge, powered through to his 300th career win and grinded past local wildcard Valentin Vacherot in Saturday's semifinal despite a tight battle. Sinner advanced by toppling Alexander Zverev but raised fitness red flags with medical timeouts, physio calls, and admitted physical struggles—potentially hip or elbow-related—after dropping sets earlier. Alcaraz's clay pedigree and momentum contrast Sinner's health uncertainties, informing trader consensus on this blockbuster.
