Jannik Sinner holds a commanding 4-2 head-to-head edge over Felix Auger-Aliassime entering their Rolex Monte Carlo Masters quarterfinal, with trader consensus reflecting his world No. 2 form and 19-match Masters 1000 win streak snapped only by a set loss to Tomas Machac in the prior round amid minor back discomfort. Auger-Aliassime, seeded sixth with a strong 17-6 record this year, advanced past his third-round foe but raised shoulder concerns during a tense opener halted briefly, compounded by recent sickness reports. On Monte Carlo's slow clay—where Auger won their sole prior clay clash in Madrid 2022—Sinner's baseline power and improved dirt adaptation contrast the Canadian's big serve and athleticism, setting a competitive baseline battle with no major withdrawals or weather disruptions noted.
