Second-seeded Adam Walton (#109 ATP) enters the Busan Challenger hard-court quarterfinals as the ranking favorite against seventh-seeded Bu Yunchaokete (#175), reinforced by his 2024 Guangzhou Challenger victory over Bu (2-6, 7-6, 6-2). In the past 48 hours, Walton advanced past Yu Hsiou Hsu (6-2, 5-7, 6-2) and James Trotter (6-4, 6-7, 6-3), showcasing resilience in three-setters, while Bu posted straight-set wins over Yunseong Chung (6-1, 6-4) and Marat Sharipov (6-4, 6-2), riding momentum after a ranking dip from career-high No. 64. Walton's superior hard-court experience and serving prowess tilt trader consensus, though Bu's efficient run highlights upset potential in this outdoor matchup.
