Top-seeded Raphael Collignon, the defending Monza Challenger champion and world No. 68, meets fourth-seeded Martin Landaluce (No. 105) in today's clay-court semifinals, pitting Collignon's tournament experience against the 20-year-old Spaniard's upside. Collignon improved to 3-0 on clay this week with a straight-sets quarterfinal victory over Luca Van Assche, building on his 18-6 overall 2026 record amid strong baseline consistency. Landaluce, fresh off a Miami Masters quarterfinal run on hard courts, leads their head-to-head 1-0 via the Orleans Challenger final last September but notched his second straight-sets win here over Hugo Gaston. Key factors include Collignon's surface acclimation and crowd support at Villa Reale versus Landaluce's powerful groundstrokes and youth, with no reported injuries shaping trader consensus on this closely contested matchup.
