Matias Soto enters as the clear trader consensus favorite over Mariano Kestelboim in this ATP Challenger Santa Cruz de la Sierra round-of-32 clash on red clay, driven by his superior No. 304 ranking versus Kestelboim's No. 624, along with stronger recent clay-court momentum. Soto advanced to the second round in Mexico City Challenger last week, upsetting Jay Clarke in three sets before a tight loss to Stefano Napolitano, while Kestelboim holds a shaky 1-4 record in recent Challengers amid qualification struggles. With no head-to-head history, Soto's consistency and higher Elo rating bolster his edge, though Challenger volatility leaves room for an underdog push if Kestelboim exploits any early lapses. No injury concerns or withdrawals reported ahead of the April 14 matchup.
