Ugo Humbert's scorching recent form, capped by a stunning second-round upset over top-10 seed Alex de Minaur at Indian Wells, anchors his 71% implied probability as trader consensus favorite against Alexander Shevchenko in the Miami Open first round. The Frenchman, riding a wave of hard-court momentum with strong serving and baseline aggression, enters at a career-high ranking around No. 16, contrasting Shevchenko's struggles at ATP level despite challenger success. No injuries reported for either; their first head-to-head favors Humbert's superior power on outdoor hard courts, where he's won key tiebreakers lately, though Shevchenko's counterpunching could test endurance in Miami's humid conditions.
