Keegan Smith, seeded fifth and ranked around No. 301, enters as the higher-ranked player with a 17-10 record in 2026, including 16-6 on indoor hard courts, bypassing qualifiers into the ATP Challenger Wuning 2 main draw on Chinese hard courts. Enzo Aguiard, at No. 569, advanced through qualifying with a resilient 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 comeback over Sora Fukuda and a 6-3, 6-7(4), 7-6(2) three-setter against Yusuke Takahashi, boasting an 18-6 overall mark and 12-3 on hard this year. Their first head-to-head features no prior meetings or injury concerns, with Aguiard's recent momentum potentially testing Smith's experience in this round-of-32 matchup scheduled for April 15. Trader consensus reflects Smith's ranking edge amid Aguiard's qualifier fatigue risk.
