Nepal enters the Asian Games Men's T20I Qualifier final as the stronger side against Hong Kong, China, buoyed by superior recent form and a higher T20I ranking. The Nepalese side posted dominant group-stage results, including a 167-run victory over Malaysia, and eased past Oman by eight wickets in the semifinal. Hong Kong also impressed with big wins over Oman and Malaysia but faces a tougher matchup against Nepal's balanced attack and middle-order depth. A spinning pitch at Singapore National Cricket Ground and Nepal's decision to bowl first after winning the toss add tactical layers, while both teams' strong tournament showings underscore the competitive stakes for qualification. Historical head-to-head trends favor Nepal, though finals pressure has occasionally derailed them in recent years.
