Southerly flow ahead of an approaching trough, combined with variable cloud cover and urban heat-island effects, creates the primary uncertainty range. Ensemble guidance places the most likely maximum near the seasonal normal of roughly 25 °C, yet small shifts in timing of any coastal sea breeze or afternoon convection could easily move the observed high one degree either way. Traders are therefore weighting the latest deterministic and ensemble outputs that will be refreshed within the next 24–48 hours.
