Billy Blaydes enters the M15 Monastir hard-court match as the clear favorite based on his higher ITF ranking near 1720 and stronger recent results, including solid qualifying performances and college-level experience at Auburn that translates to consistent baseline play and endurance. Gianluca Carlini, an Italian player with a lower profile and limited ITF exposure, faces a tough stylistic matchup on the fast surface where Blaydes has shown better point construction and serving reliability in recent events. The round-of-16 clash offers little rest advantage for either, with both navigating a packed draw in the ongoing June 2026 tournament; any late injury updates or fatigue from prior rounds could shift implied probabilities, though current trader consensus reflects Blaydes’ superior form and ranking edge.
