Barcelona's surge to the top of the LaLiga table, capped by a gritty win over 10-man Atletico Madrid on April 4 and a five-match winning streak through matchday 31, has opened a six-to-seven-point lead over Real Madrid with seven games remaining, effectively securing the Catalans' title charge and locking in Los Blancos for second. Real Madrid's recent form (three wins, two draws) and substantial goal difference advantage maintain an insurmountable buffer over third-placed Villarreal and fourth-placed Atletico Madrid, whose inconsistencies—Atletico's three straight losses—have dimmed their Champions League qualification hopes. Trader consensus reflects this dominance at 95.7% implied probability, though a freak injury crisis or utter collapse in Madrid's remaining fixtures against mid-table sides could theoretically allow an upset.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by La Liga as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 LaLiga season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 LaLiga season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from the LaLiga. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
