The San Francisco Giants face the Baltimore Orioles in game two of their weekend series at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, with Logan Webb (1-1, 5.00 ERA) starting for the Giants against Chris Bassitt (0-2, 14.21 ERA) for the Orioles on Saturday evening. Both teams sit near .500 early in the season—Giants at 5-8, Orioles 6-6—following mixed results, including Baltimore's sweep of the White Sox highlighted by Taylor Ward's four-hit game and San Francisco's split with the Mets. Key absences shape lineups: Orioles prospect Jackson Holliday remains on the 10-day injured list with right hamate surgery, while Giants pitchers like Hayden Birdsong (Tommy John) and José Buttó (arm fatigue) are sidelined. Mild weather with temperatures near 70°F favors hitters, and Baltimore's home-field advantage could test San Francisco's road form amid ongoing bullpen concerns for both clubs.
