This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on September 22, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after October 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Titled Tuesday field on September 22 remains wide open, with the cluster of elite grandmasters priced near even money reflecting the inherent unpredictability of online blitz and the depth of titled participants. Recent form, current blitz ratings, and historical Titled Tuesday results show no single player dominating the weekly events, while scheduling factors such as rest, time-zone alignment, and selective participation by top names like Magnus Carlsen keep probabilities compressed. Carlsen’s lower implied probability aligns with his occasional absences from the Tuesday arena, though his peak performance when entered continues to represent realistic upset potential against the field. The wisdom of crowds in this market underscores how minor edges in preparation, opening choice, or a single strong session can shift outcomes in a format where upsets occur regularly among closely matched competitors.
