Consistent performers like Denis Lazavik, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Hikaru Nakamura, and Vincent Keymer also posted top-five results in that event amid a deep field of over 500 titled players. The weekly 11-round 5+0 Swiss format rewards rating, tiebreak strength, and head-to-head results in a large open Swiss, with the $4,250 perfect-score bounty still active. Participation from elite GMs such as Nakamura, Caruana, and rising stars often shifts probabilities, as recent form in similar high-stakes blitz events tends to correlate with strong showings.
