Recent form and partnership experience shape sentiment around the Wimbledon junior girls' doubles matchup between Sun/Zhang and Hazelitt/Newman. The American pair defeated the Chinese duo 6-4, 6-3 in the Roland Garros junior semifinals on clay and later reached the final, while also securing a W35 pro doubles title in Boca Raton earlier in the spring. Sun, the top seed in the concurrent Wimbledon junior singles draw, and Zhang bring strong recent results on the junior circuit and early pro success, including ITF titles. The shift to grass courts at the All England Club introduces a new variable for both teams' movement and serve effectiveness, with limited prior grass data available for these 15- and 16-year-olds. Trader consensus reflects the Americans' proven doubles synergy against the Chinese pair's individual talent and recent singles momentum.
