Top-seeded Xinyu Wang (WTA #32) holds a substantial edge over wildcard Harmony Tan (#202) in this WTA Open Capfinances Rouen Metropole qualifying match on indoor clay at Kindarena, with no prior head-to-head. Wang rallied from a set deficit to defeat Manon Leonard 0-6, 6-3, 6-0 in Q1 yesterday, showcasing resilience, while Tan dominated fellow Frenchwoman Alice Robbe 6-3, 6-0 for straight-sets momentum. Wang's strong 2026 form (11-8 YTD, career-high #30 in February) and higher-level experience contrast Tan's ITF/WTT success (12-6), though home crowd support and lower pressure aid the underdog. Baseline rallies likely on the slower surface; late withdrawals or fatigue could shift dynamics.
