In the Santa Cruz de la Sierra Challenger quarterfinals on clay, higher-ranked Thiago Seyboth Wild (No. 251) faces Valerio Aboian (No. 534), with the Brazilian's experience as a former top-60 player and clay specialist anchoring trader consensus despite Aboian's 1-0 head-to-head lead from their February Rosario Challenger clash. Both advanced dominantly in round of 16 matches yesterday: Seyboth Wild crushed unseeded Guto Miguel 6-0 6-3, while Aboian ended a four-match skid by blanking Thiago Cigarran 6-2 6-0. No reported injuries or withdrawals affect the matchup, though Aboian's lefty game and altitude in Bolivia could test Seyboth Wild's baseline power in straight-sets potential.
