Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz meets Jannik Sinner in the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters final, a winner-takes-all clash for the ATP World No. 1 ranking on clay courts. Alcaraz powered through Alexander Bublik in quarters and upset local hero Valentin Vacherot in semis to reach his 300th career win, while Sinner dismantled Alexander Zverev 6-1, 6-4 for an eighth straight victory over the German. Alcaraz leads their head-to-head 11-6 overall and 3-1 on clay, bolstered by his explosive baseline game and drop-shot variety suited to Monte Carlo's slower surface. Both arrive in peak form as the clay season begins, with no reported injuries; Sunday's outdoor conditions could favor endurance in this first 2026 matchup.
