Clement Chidekh, the No. 1 seed and ATP No. 179, holds a ranking edge over Harry Wendelken (No. 237) in the Wuning Challenger quarterfinals on outdoor hard courts, but Wendelken leads their head-to-head 1-0 from a straight-sets ITF win last October. Both advanced decisively in round of 16 yesterday—Chidekh defeating Buvaysar Gadamauri 6-4, 6-1, and Wendelken topping Sergey Fomin—highlighting strong recent form without reported injuries or withdrawals. Wendelken's 15-4 record in his last 19 outdoor hard matches underscores his surface affinity, fostering trader consensus for a tight contest where baseline rallies and return games could prove decisive amid Chidekh's overall hard-court prowess (69% career win rate).
