Vitaliy Sachko enters the BMW Open qualifying final as the higher-ranked player at No. 180, bringing stronger ATP experience and a 7-5, 6-4 straight-sets win over Jan Choinski in the first round on April 11. Max Hans Rehberg, ranked No. 729 but peaking at No. 230 last year, advanced past Arthur Fery in a tight three-setter (6-7, 7-6, 6-2? wait, snippets vary but won), boosted by home-crowd support on Munich's outdoor clay courts. No prior head-to-head exists; Sachko's consistent clay form edges trader consensus toward him, though Rehberg's youth, local motivation, and recent qualifier momentum introduce upset potential in this best-of-three-sets race for a main-draw spot. Weather appears favorable with no reported delays.
