Keegan Smith, ranked No. 301, holds a clear experience edge over qualifier Enzo Aguiard (No. 585) in their ATP Challenger Wuning 2 first-round clash on hard courts in China. The 27-year-old American Smith enters the main draw directly after consistent Challenger showings, while 23-year-old Australian Aguiard grinded through qualies, rallying from 3-5 in the third set to save a match point and defeat Yusuke Takahashi (No. 554) yesterday. First head-to-head favors no one, but Aguiard's recent fatigue from two matches contrasts Smith's freshness. Rain reportedly moved play indoors to slower surfaces, suiting baseline rallies, yet traders price Smith's ranking and stamina as key amid upset potential.
