The 2026 Categoría Primera B season features a 16-team field split across Apertura and Clausura phases followed by quadrangular finals, a structure that spreads promotion opportunities and keeps runner-up probabilities tightly clustered. Mid-season aggregate tables show Envigado, Inter de Palmira, Real Cartagena, Unión Magdalena, and Deportes Quindío occupying the upper positions with solid goal differentials and recent wins, yet none has pulled away decisively. Depth throughout the league, including contributions from Patriotas Boyacá, Bogotá F.C., and Leones, combined with fluctuating home/away form and limited rest between fixtures, sustains broad trader consensus. Variable results week to week and the playoff emphasis on momentum rather than regular-season dominance continue to hold implied probabilities for runner-up contention near even across the group.
