The 2026-27 Niké Liga regular stage is only weeks old, leaving the runner-up market wide open amid early parity. Slovan Bratislava enters as the defending champion but sits fourth after mixed results and European commitments, while DAC Dunajská Streda leads with an unbeaten run and strong attacking output. Spartak Trnava, MŠK Žilina, and others like Podbrezová and Košice have posted competitive starts that mirror historical patterns where multiple clubs routinely challenge for second in the championship group. With the split format still months away and roster depth, injuries, and form yet to stabilize across the 12-team field, trader consensus reflects broad uncertainty over which side will separate itself for the top-two spot.
