Early in the 2026-27 Austrian Bundesliga campaign, after five rounds, no side has established a decisive edge in clean sheets, leaving the race for the most tightly bunched among all 12 clubs. LASK leads the table with the stingiest defense, conceding just two goals while posting three shutouts for goalkeeper Lukas Jungwirth, while Red Bull Salzburg and Rapid Wien have also kept strong early records with few goals allowed. Sturm Graz, Wolfsberger AC, and others remain in contention as fixtures mount and defensive form fluctuates across home and away splits. With the full schedule stretching into May 2027 and typical league parity, trader consensus reflects the extended timeline and absence of sustained dominance by any single back line.
