**Ryan Joyce holds a commanding edge over Jimmy van Schie in this Players Championship matchup.** As a consistent top-25 PDC performer with deep runs in events like the World Grand Prix and European Championship, Joyce brings proven Pro Tour scoring power and finishing reliability against a field of established professionals. Van Schie, ranked around 88th after securing his 2026 Tour Card via Q-School, transitioned from WDF dominance (including 2025 World Championship and Masters titles) but has limited PDC experience and lower recent averages in Tour events. The ranking gap, Joyce’s superior adaptation to PDC formats, and van Schie’s ongoing adjustment to higher-level competition explain the strong trader consensus reflected in current pricing.
