James Wade edges a narrow 50.5% implied probability in this World Series of Darts matchup against Stephen Bunting, reflecting their comparable PDC experience and recent form. Wade has posted strong results in the ongoing New Zealand Darts Masters, including a 6-0 whitewash, while maintaining consistent averages across Players Championship events and reaching the UK Open final earlier in 2026. Bunting, fresh off a fifth-place Premier League finish with multiple nightly wins, brings aggressive scoring and proven knockout resilience from his World Championship run. Their head-to-head remains tight, with neither holding a decisive edge on current surfaces or in high-pressure legs. Minor roster or travel factors in the trans-Tasman swing could shift momentum, but the matchup's balance stems from both players' proven ability to post 100+ averages when in rhythm.
