**Lanús leads trader consensus at 46.5% for most clean sheets in the 2026 Liga Profesional, with a cluster of contenders including Belgrano, Estudiantes (LP), San Lorenzo, Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, and others around 36%.** Current defensive metrics show Belgrano with 14 clean sheets across 27 matches, Estudiantes and San Lorenzo at 12 each, and Lanús at 9 in 24 games while conceding 1.04 goals per match on average. Key positioning factors include goalkeeper consistency (e.g., Nahuel Losada’s save rates for Lanús and Thiago Cardozo’s contributions for Belgrano), recent results featuring low-scoring draws and shutouts, and remaining Clausura fixtures that favor teams with organized backlines and home advantages. Recent August developments, such as Lanús’s 3-0 win over Talleres and 1-0 result versus San Lorenzo alongside Belgrano’s strong away clean-sheet rate, underscore defensive momentum. The wisdom of crowds reflected in pricing accounts for schedule difficulty, injury reports, and historical patterns in a tightly contested campaign where multiple sides maintain realistic paths to the top defensive tally.
