This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on the AL Platinum Glove reflects a fiercely competitive field, with Bobby Witt Jr., Ceddanne Rafaela, and Dillon Dingler clustered at 29-31% implied probabilities entering the 2026 season, underscoring parity among last year's Gold Glove standouts. Witt, the 2025 AL Platinum and Gold Glove shortstop, boasts elite Defensive Runs Saved (DRS) and Outs Above Average (OAA) from his Royals infield mastery alongside Maikel Garcia, but Rafaela's rangy center field plays for Boston, Dingler's framing and pop time as Detroit's catcher, Steven Kwan's consistent left field reliability, and Cal Raleigh's arm strength keep odds tight. No major spring training injuries or roster shifts have emerged to separate the pack, leaving defensive metrics and full-season volume as key deciders in this wisdom-of-crowds standoff.
