The defending 2025 MLP Cup champions just swept through their home event in St. Louis, posting multiple lopsided victories including a 4-0 result over Orlando Squeeze and strong showings against other contenders. Anna Bright and Kate Fahey’s 14-2 doubles record, combined with the team’s league-leading DUPR rating near 37.9, underscores consistent execution across formats. Orlando Squeeze, despite additions like Jack Sock and solid men’s results early in the season (7-3), have shown vulnerabilities in high-stakes matches, including that recent shutout loss and inconsistent women’s play from Milan Rane and Lacy Schneemann. The upcoming contest in Florida offers Squeeze a slight travel edge, yet Shock’s momentum from three events into the 2026 campaign and superior head-to-head form heavily shape the current market consensus.
