If Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past October 7, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in receiving touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The bunched probabilities around 49-49.5% for over 80 receivers and tight ends reflect the inherent week-to-week volatility in NFL receiving touchdown leadership. Offensive schemes spread red-zone targets across multiple options, with wideouts, slot receivers, and tight ends all competing in varied matchups during Week 2. Recent adjustments from Week 1 performances, including usage patterns and quarterback distribution, have not produced a clear frontrunner, as injury reports and depth-chart shifts remain fluid across the league. Historical patterns show touchdowns often hinge on situational factors like goal-line work and play-calling rather than season-long volume, keeping implied probabilities evenly distributed among high-upside candidates.
