Rockstar's recent "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look," which premiered exclusively on Netflix on August 27 before hitting YouTube, has reset expectations for further marketing. Captured from in-game PS5 footage, the roughly 30-minute presentation delivered substantial new gameplay and story details just weeks after pre-orders opened at $79.99, drawing record Netflix views and reinforcing the November 19 console launch window. Industry observers note Rockstar's pattern of back-loading campaigns with a final launch trailer near preload dates, often around early-to-mid November, as seen with prior titles. Leaks from earlier in August and ongoing cultural anticipation create momentum, though the studio's deliberate pacing and history of last-minute adjustments keep the exact timing of any additional trailer uncertain for traders tracking release cadence.
